Robert joins Big Society Capital as part of the On Purpose programme, a year-long leadership scheme that combines on-the-ground experience in two purpose-driven organisations with a learning and development programme.
Robert previously worked in education publishing, most recently as a commissioning editor for digital learning content at Cambridge University Press. He holds a BA in International Relations from the University of Leeds and also spent two years teaching English in Tokyo. Robert has developed a keen academic interest in nutrition, public health and social policy. He has also volunteered extensively for several charities in the health and wellbeing space such as The Food Chain, an organisation dedicated to providing nutritional services for people living with HIV in London. He has just completed his first On Purpose placement at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Charity.
