About Ellie
Ellie joined the team in January 2022 as a Senior Investment Network Officer. Her key responsibilities building investment networks and securing and delivering support for fund managers to accelerate their scaling journeys.
Before joining Big Society Capital, Ellie was a Community Manager at the charity Crisis in the Venture Studio team, where they invest in startups that have the potential to tackle the causes or consequences of homelessness. Prior to this, she was part of the early team at Zinc VC working on community and programme support, helping founders to build socially impactful startups from scratch. Ellie has also spent time volunteering supporting refugees and youth in regions of conflict in Greece, Gaza, the Netherlands, and the UK. She is passionate about the potential that peoplepower, community cohesion, and social impact investment have to tackle huge social inequities.
