Neil brings a broad range of legal, regulatory and governance experience to Big Society Capital spanning financial services, insurance and environmental issues, and as a leader of legal, compliance and company secretariat teams of all shapes and sizes.
Previously, Neil held General Counsel and senior legal and executive roles at Zurich Insurance (10 years) and Barclays (7 years) following private practice at Allen & Overy.
He is also Chair and Non-Executive Director of the National Biodiversity Network, a UK-wide charity focused on collecting and sharing biological data to educate and inform decision-making for a sustainable environment.
