Community Energy Fund

Fund enabling communities to develop renewable energy projects.

The Fund provides small, low interest loans to community organisations in areas of high deprivation to pay for renewable energy assets and implement energy efficient measures. The Fund will lend up to 50% of the value of a project, up to a maximum of £50,000.

The community energy assets developed will deliver consistent income for 20-25 years and surpluses generated will be re-invested in community projects.
