That is why I brought my conventional finance experience to the social investment sector where innovation can create opportunity and sustainability. From blended finance to CDFIs, social investment into change-making social enterprises across the country can help build resilient economies to weather today’s challenges and generate tomorrow’s community wealth.
I look forward to joining Big Society Capital’s Investment Committee to shape investment that meets the needs of communities across the UK."
Stephen Muers, Chief Executive of Big Society Capital, said:
“Patricia’s wealth of knowledge and experience will be invaluable to the Investment Committee. Her track record across different roles of working to facilitate investment and funding for communities and organisations which are often overlooked will be particularly valuable to help maximise Big Society Capital’s ability to make a difference through our investment.
