About Stuart

Stuart Foster is the Managing Director of the Financial Institutions team within the Commercial Banking Group at RBS International. This also includes NatWest Trustee and Depositary Services, the largest fully independent trustee and depositary provider in the UK.

He joined RBS in 2000 working in a variety of roles including several in Structured Finance, Global Banking and Markets and Services and TMT Coverage team in Large Corporate business. More recently, he was Managing Director of the Institutional Banking and Depositary Services at RBS International, and prior to that, Managing Director of the Large Corporate & Sectors business with responsibility for a number of sectors, including Financial Institutions, Professional Services, Education, Charities and Healthcare, accountable for sector strategy and risk appetite across the commercial bank.

Prior to joining the bank, Stuart worked at the British Academy, where for 5 years he undertook a research and lecturing role based at St. Andrews University, where he also completed a doctorate in Modern History.
