Paola resigned from our Board in May 2020, but remains a valued member of our Audit Risk and Compliance Committee.

Paola Bergamaschi Broyd has more than 25 years’ experience of capital markets in the City of London. She covered senior management positions at Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse and State Street covering different geographies, with P&L responsibility.

Since 2014 Paola has developed a portfolio of non-executive positions. She is currently on the board of BNY Mellon International (asset services), Wells Fargo Securities International (broker dealer), ARCA Fondi SGR (asset management), SAMTI (a Dutch Stichting- Foundation) and she serves on various risk and audit committees as part of these mandates. Very interested and involved in impact investing, Paola has direct investments in this sector and she has also been a member of the Advisory Board for the internationalization of Banca Prossima, the largest bank in Europe focused on the social economy.

Paola is a Trustee of the UK charity Fareshare, a Freeman of the City and a member of the Worshipful Company of International Bankers, one of the livery companies of the City of London.
