About Lisa

Lisa joined the Big Society Capital Investment Committee in January 2021 after being involved with the organisation and its development of the Women in Safe Homes fund aimed at providing hundreds of homes for vulnerable women across the UK.

Lisa has worked in women's sector organisations for more than twenty years and serves as a Trustee and Treasurer for a range of organisations in Hull and Bradford, all of which work actively to tackle violence against women and girls. Her role is to help develop strategy and diverse income streams to create sustainable service solutions.

She has worked with different social investors to develop property funds creating safe spaces for women fleeing violence and abuse and to help to build long-term financial resilience for women's sector organisations.
