About Fayyadh
Fayyadh joined the Investment and Engagement team in October 2021 as a 2027 Associate. His key responsibility is to support the implementation of the diversity strategy within BSC with a focus on the investment process, investor engagement and building key resources for best practice. Alongside this he will support the continued development of the innovation strategy by helping to enhance the ‘Ideas for Impact’ programme - nurturing relationships between organisations that have the potential to tackle social issues through social investment. He will also be working closely with the ‘Addressing Imbalance’ engagement programme to help better connect with black and ethnic minority led organisations to improve access to information, knowledge, and resources on impact investment opportunities.
Prior to joining the social investment sector, Fayyadh worked on several community development projects in the Philippines, South Africa, Pakistan, and China with a focus on youth-led development in the Global South. His passion to address poverty, inequality and social mobility in London was incubated through leading social action campaigns in Tower Hamlets and working on grassroots initiatives with local stakeholders, businesses, and community groups. He graduated from the LSE with a MSc in Social Policy & Planning with his research focused on social enterprises in London helping marginalised communities back into employment. Previously, he has worked across tech, advertising, and media driving youth engagement, digital transformation, and access to opportunities to upskill young people for the future of work.
