Christine leads on Public Sector Markets. As part of her role, she sits on the board of the Social Investment Scotland Social Growth Fund and the investment committee of Local Partnership’s Technology Spin-out Funds. Christine brings her international financial experience to the team, having worked for ShoreBank International and at Goldman Sachs in New York and London. She holds an MBA from INSEAD and two degrees from MIT. She is passionate about the delivery of social impact by the frontline, and she sits on the Board of Pact Futures CIC and Thera Trust, and the credit committee for RBS Social and Community Capital.
Christine is currently on secondment at Esmée Fairbairn Foundation until July 2017.
In a recent speech on creating a ‘smarter state’, the Prime Minister said that government will increasingly be ‘bringing in new providers or allowing new ways of doing things’. Following this, the Institute for Government convened an event to explore what we can learn from new approaches to commissioning, setting up and managing public service markets and how to enable integration and collaboration between service providers and government.
