Region |
Location: 5 Broadgate Place, London, EC2M 2AN.

Being an effective Honorary Treasurer is not only about understanding the right things to do, it is also knowing how to avoid the pitfalls. The Summer Symposium is focusing on a number of topics which we hope will help improve adeptness including; the latest financial guidance for trustees; Reporting on impact; an update on the ‘Get Informed’ campaign for social investment; Trading as a charity - opportunity or pitfall?   We will hear from eminent speakers and have the opportunity to learn from each other.

The panel will be chaired by Denise Fellows and includes: Nick Mott - Deputy Head of Guidance & Practice at Charity Commission, Gillian McKay – Head of Charities at ICAEW; Mark Salway – Director of Social Finance at Cass CCE; and, Pauline Broomhead - founding CEO at the Foundation for Social Improvement (FSI).
